Record audience follows 2009 NFL Scouting Combine

NFL Network ratings up for all four days of live workouts and in all demos

Increase in visits and time spent on NFL.com

A record five million viewers -- a 26 percent increase -- tuned in to NFL Network's exclusive coverage of the 2009 NFL Scouting Combine, according to Nielsen Media Research. In addition, visits to NFL.com for the Scouting Combine increased 27 percent and fans spent 41 percent more time on the site than a year ago.

NFL Network's exclusive coverage of the 2009 NFL Scouting Combine Presented by Under Armour included four days of live workouts (Sat, Feb. 21 thorugh Tues, Feb. 24) featuring positional workouts, the 40-yard dash, the bench press, news coverage and everything in between.

NFL.com Live featured five video views of the NFL Scouting Combine, including press conferences, alternate angles of 40-yard dash and position drills as well as streams set up for ancillary drills and post-workout interviews.

The five million viewers for the 2009 NFL Scouting Combine is a 26 percent jump over 2008. In addition, ratings for the live coverage (11 a.m. ET-2 p.m. ET from Saturday through Tuesday) increased each day with Sunday's workouts featuring quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers ranking as the most-watched combine telecast of all-time (complete day-by-day recap below).

In the key demographics, ratings among Adults 18-49 increased 81 percent while those among men 18-49 were up 68 percent.

The special two-hour NFL Total Access 2 p.m. ET shows on Sat., Feb. 21 and Sun., Feb. 22 more than doubled last year's ratings, increasing 110 percent.

On NFL.com, visits to the Scouting Combine section spiked 27 percent, while 38 percent more fans took advantage of the live streaming than last year.
