The New York Jets will not release quarterback Tim Tebow before the start of the new league year on March 12, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Monday.
Most assumed the franchise would make a move sooner than later after the disastrous experiment in 2012, but new general manager John Idzik is holding out hope that a trade can develop.
The Jets haven't exactly been overwhelmed by teams asking about Tebow. We'll see if they end up releasing him anyway.
