Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle Jared Gaither was carted off the field during Friday afternoon's training-camp practice with what appeared to be a back injury, but team trainer Bill Tessendorf said it was just cramps, according to *The Baltimore Sun*.
Gaither, a fourth-year NFL veteran, was seen icing his lower back after leaving the field.
This offseason has featured a series of tough breaks for the Ravens. On Thursday, Ravens cornerback Domonique Foxworth tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. It was announced Friday that Foxworth will miss the 2010 season.
Gaither, 24, had rotated with Michael Oher at left and right tackle during Friday's morning and afternoon practices. Oher, a standout left tackle whose story was the basis for the book and the movie "The Blind Side," filled in well at left tackle as a rookie last season when Gaither was injured.
During offseason minicamps, the Ravensplayed Oher at left tackle, moving Gaither -- who missed most offseason workouts with a toe injury -- to right tackle.
