Kaepernick threw for 10,098 yards and 82 touchdowns with just 24 interceptions and ran for 4,112 yards and 59 more scores in four seasons as the Wolf Pack's starter. He has gone from virtually unknown to one of the top quarterback prospects in the draft, and many analysts see him as a solid second-round selection.
Kaepernick, who's 6-foot-5 with a powerful arm and the ability to outrun pursuing defenders, is seen by many scouts as strong and durable but raw. He has visited or worked out for six teams, including the Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers and Tennessee Titans.
Kaepernick, who also helped his draft stock with an impressive performance at Nevada's March 22 pro day, completed 64.9 percent of his passes for 3,022 yards and 21 touchdowns with just eight interceptions as a senior, led Nevada to a 13-1 season that closed with a 20-13 victory over Boston College in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl.
