Joe Morgan's brief but intriguing tenure with the New Orleans Saints appears to have ended.
The team announced that Morgan has been placed on the reserve/suspended list, though the franchise did not give an explanation as to why Morgan was removed from the roster.
The 26-year-old former undrafted free agent averaged more than 35 yards per catch in a breakout 2012 but missed all of last season with an ACL issue. Morgan played in just one game for the Saints this season.
Morgan issued a one-word response of sorts on his verified Twitter page.
It sounds like he was just as surprised as the rest of us.
