Sam Bradford has yet to participate to 11-on-11 drills at Eagles minicamp. Should this be taken as a sign that the quarterback's recovery from knee surgery has not progressed as quickly as expected?
Bradford did his best to downplay his absence and made it clear he expects to be a full practice participant by the start of training camp.
"I think if I'm not ready for 11-on-11 by training camp, then I think something has gone terribly wrong," Bradford said, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer. "That's the plan."
Eagles coach Chip Kelly sounded similarly confident when asked if Bradford would be ready 11-on-11 work in training camp.
Said Kelly: "God, we hope so."
Bradford took part in 7-on-7 drills on Tuesday and is reportedly moving better after some less than glowing reports about his mobility during OTAs. He set a schedule with the Eagles' strength and training staff last week and plans to remain in Philadelphia for most of the summer.
Bradford's rehab hasn't been as smooth as fellow two-time ACL survivor Carson Palmer, but that doesn't mean it's time to sound the alarm in Philadelphia.
