PHILADELPHIA -- Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Asante Samuel and rookie receiver DeSean Jackson sustained mild hamstring pulls in practice Wednesday.

Samuel and Jackson are two of the team's key offseason additions.
The Eagles signed Samuel to a six-year, $57 million free-agent deal, and selected Jackson with their second pick in the draft, 49th overall.
The Eagles signed Samuel to boost a defense that forced a league-low 19 turnovers last season. He has been named the starter at left cornerback, replacing Lito Sheppard, who skipped the voluntary workouts for the second straight day amid dissatisfaction with his contract and uncertainty about his role on the team.
Jackson, a standout returner out of Cal, is being called on to return kickoffs and punts. He set a Pac-10 record by returning six punts for touchdowns in his career.
Also, the Eagles signed fourth-round pick Mike McGlynn to a four-year deal.
McGlynn, an offensive lineman out of Pittsburgh, is the second of the Eagles' 10 draft picks to sign. Safety Quintin Demps signed last week.
