San Diego Chargers linebacker Manti Te'o will have to wait at least another week to make his NFL debut.
The rookie was officially listed as out for Monday night's matchup against the Houston Texans.
NFL Media insider Ian Rapoport reported earlier this week that Te'o was unlikely to play in the season opener. The linebacker has dealt with a sprained foot for the past month. Rapoport said a return in Week 2 or Week 3 is possible.
In other Chargers injury news, receivers Malcom Floyd (knee) and Eddie Royal (chest, concussion) were both listed as probable on Saturday's injury report. That is positive news for Philip Rivers' tenuous receiving corps.
