San Diego Chargers cornerback Quentin Jammer will play with a cast on his broken hand against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, U-T San Diego reports.
Jammer broke his hand in the Chargers' 22-14 win over the Oakland Raiders on Monday night, and had surgery Tuesday.
The 11-year veteran should be fine in coverage, but how will he perform in close contact?
The cast could affect his play in press coverage and on tackle attempts. Jammer (6-foot, 204-pounds) brings a physical presence to the secondary. In the regular-season opener he collected seven tackles and had two pass deflections.
He's missed four games since he entered the NFL in 2002.
