Soto versus Holt highlights NFL TA League Week 2

They provide opinion and analysis. They're insiders and experts. But how much do the NFL Network and NFL.com folks really know about fantasy football? That's what the NFL Total Access League is for. A chance for them to show off their chops. So as we head into Week 2, let's analyze the matchups.

Fran Charles rolled to an easy Week 1 win thanks to heroics from Tom Brady and Ray Rice. That pair could explode again this week, and with Beanie Wells and Tim Hightower facing favorable matchups, it could be another high scoring week. Paul Burmeister's lineup was the picture of disappointment in Week 1, but should fare better this week. However, unless a couple of guys go wild, it likely won't be enough.

Predicted outcome: With so much firepower, it'll be Charles in charge.

Dave Dameshek's Kool Kats were flat out cold in their season-opening loss and now have to ponder what to do about the Arian Foster/Ben Tate platoon in Houston. It doesn't help that his receiver depth is non-existent if Dez Bryant doesn't play on Sunday. Jim Mora's East Dillon Lions are starting the rare two tight-end lineup, but it could produce big dividends for him in a bounce back week.

Predicted outcome: The Lions will roar thanks to favorable games up and down the lineup.

Judging by Week 1, Andrew Siciliano should always lean on the auto draft. This week, however, Team Auto Draft has a few question marks -- most notably Hakeem Nicks and his balky knee. The Aarons (Rodgers and Hernandez) could keep him close with big games. Adam Rank and his Henne crew don't seem concerned. "If I lose to Andrew Siciliano, I should be forced to wear some Mychal Thompson-era short-shorts on NFL Fantasy Live," Rank said confidently.

Predicted outcome: Henne gets the win and saves us all from a major fashion nightmare.

Jay Glazer and Team Hebrew were hurt by Steven Jackson's injury and Vincent Jackson's poor showing in Week 1. Jackson should break out this week and if Adrian Peterson can put together a better performance, Glazer could be a handful. It's little surprise that defense carried Willie McGinest to victory last week. But he'll need all hands on deck this week to get to 2-0.

Predicted outcome: Glazer's stars play like stars and lead Team Hebrew to the promised land.

The Steelers defense was his biggest Dud for Jamie Dukes last week -- although even a good week may not have been enough to compete with the Matt Stafford/Matt Forte/LeSean McCoy buzzsaw he ran into. This week, the Steelers will be a better play and if Fred Davis steps up, Dukes could cruise. Speaking of buzzsaws, Brian Baldinger got cut up by Tom Brady in Week 1. Unless Chris Johnson and Reggie Bush step up this week, it could be an 0-2 start for Baldy.

Predicted outcome: Dukes Duds get some dirt off their shoulder in a narrow win.

Last week, Lindsay "YoFace" Soto rode Stafford, Forte and McCoy to victory and there's little reason to think those three won't be huge again this week. If DeSean Jackson, Mike Williams and the Lions defense come through, she'll be tough to beat. Torry Holt's Greatest Show Online lived up to its designation as the preseason favorite with a big win over Glazer. He'll have his hands full this week, but warns Soto to "bring her 'A' game," adding that his team "had a great week of practice." Whatever that means.

Predicted outcome: YoFace will have a smile on it after stopping the Show.
