Star Lotuleleineeded a big performance at his pro day Wednesday after a heart condition kept him from working out last month at the NFL Scouting Combine. The Utah defensive tackle did exactly that.

Jeremiah: Free agency impacts draft

How has free agency reshaped team needs for the draft? Daniel Jeremiah provides 10 key takeaways from the frenzy. **More ...**

Lotulelei put up 38 reps on the bench press, finished the three-cone drill in 7.66 seconds and ran the shuttle in 4.65 seconds, NFL.com draft expert Gil Brandt reported. Lotulelei also "dominated position drills," according to NFL.com's Akbar Gbajabiamila.

The 38 reps would have tied SMU's Margus Hunt and Missouri Southern State's Brandon Williams for the most by any defensive linemen at the combine.

Lotulelei was in the conversation as a possible No. 1 overall draft pick before the health concerns. Wednesday's workouts might have alleviated some of those worries and nudged him back into consideration.
