Still the one: Brady lone NFL player to make most-influential list

Super Bowl trophies? Check.

Supermodel wife? Check.

Still got it? Check.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady -- no matter your thoughts on the man -- has outdone the likes of Simon Cowell, Justin Timberlake and Larry David to place No. 42 in AskMen.com's sixth annual Top 49 Most Influential Men of 2011, published this week.

Brady was the only NFL player to make the list, which was generated by polling more than 200,000 readers. New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees made it last year, but he fell off the map this time around, according to the Boston Herald.

If Rex Ryan is waltzing around his Florham Park basement seething over this development, take heart. AskMen.com allows readers to issue their two cents on who should move up or down the list, but it can't alter what Brady has done on the field this season.

It's not just the gigantic numbers -- over 2,000 yards to go with 16 touchdowns (so far) -- it's the back-to-back wins over Ryan's New York Jetsand brother Rob's Dallas Cowboys.

Few quarterbacks can be counted on to get it done week after week in cold, calculated fashion like Brady, and apparently that resonates with the common man (if the common man is hanging out on AskMen.com, that is).
