South Carolina wide receiver Shaq Roland, suspended the last three games for a violation of university policy, will return to play Saturday against Tennessee, according to gogamecocks.com.
Roland averaged 20.1 yards per catch through three games before Steve Spurrier announced his suspension would extend for three weeks. Subsequently, it was reported that Roland was suspended for taking the prescription drug Adderall, presumably without a prescription.
Roland has been allowed to practice with the team through the suspension. As a true sophomore, Roland (6-1, 190 pounds) is ineligible for the 2014 NFL Draft.
