The post-Teddy Bridgewater era at Louisville begins Monday night with a game against Miami, and Bridgewater wanted to make sure to thank Cardinals fans beforehand.
He purchased a full-page ad in the student newspaper, The Louisville Cardinal, to express his gratitude.
The Louisville Courier-Journal reported that Bridgewater had the Minnesota Vikings send the picture to the newspaper for use in the ad.
Bridgewater threw for 9,817 yards and 72 TDs in three seasons at Louisville, and was taken by the Vikings with the final pick of the first round of the 2014 draft.
