It's been a rough 14 months for New York Giants cornerback Terrell Thomas.
Already placed on injured reserve, Thomas recently underwent a third surgery on his anterior cruciate ligament, according to Jenny Vrentas of the Newark Star-Ledger.
Thomas missed all of last season after tearing his ACL. He re-injured the knee last month and didn't plan to get surgery again, but recent tests revealed another tear. Thomas was one of the better young cornerbacks in the NFL, but he has a challenging road ahead.
