Titans try to bolster secondary by agreeing to terms with CB Hill

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans announced Tuesday that they have agreed to undisclosed terms with cornerback Tye Hill, a former first-round draft pick of the St. Louis Rams.

Hill has started 24 games and made five interceptions during his four-year NFL career. He started three games for the Atlanta Falcons last season.

Hill spent three seasons with the Rams before being traded to the Falcons before the start of the 2009 season. His playing time in both 2007 and 2008 was limited because of injury, and he finished both years on injured reserve.

The Titans also are looking for backup help at quarterback, so they visited from two former players, Patrick Ramsey and Chris Simms. Anyone who signs would be a reserve, with starter Vince Young and backup Kerry Collins already on the roster.
