The Philadelphia Eagles might be forced to go without right tackle Todd Herremans the rest of way.
Two people familiar with his test results told CSNPhilly.com on Tuesday that the foot injury suffered by Herremans in Monday night's 28-13 loss to the New Orleans Saints could end his season.
Lombardi: No confidence in Philly
If Eagles fans could vote on their team, Andy Reid and Michael Vick would be gone, Michael Lombardi says -- and rightly so. **More ...**
"It's not good," one team official said. "It doesn't look good at all. We're still waiting for (more test results), but it looks bad."
If Herremans is done, the Eagles' offensive-line situation goes from bad to worse. The team is already playing without All-Pro left tackle Jason Peters and center Jason Kelce, who are both out for the season. Right guard Danny Watkins has missed the past two games with what Reid has called a chronic ankle issue.
It's a minor miracle Michael Vick has lasted this long considering the number of wicked hits he's taken on a weekly basis. The situation won't improve if Herremans exits the picture.
