The list of the Top 100 Players of 2022 is beginning to unfold.
Kirk Cousins and Derek Carr have been revealed as members of the Top 100 Players of 2022, coming in at Nos. 99 and 65, respectively. The announcement came during halftime of the Vikings-Raiders preseason game on NFL Network.
Cousins earns a No. 99 ranking after generating the fourth-highest passer rating (103,1) among all quarterbacks last season. The Vikings QB has thrown for over 4,000 yards in six of his last seven seasons, and earned his third Pro Bowl bid in 2021.
Carr's No. 65 ranking ends a three-year absence from the Top 100 list for the eight-year veteran. The Raiders QB posted career-highs in completions (428) and passing yards (4,804) while guiding Las Vegas to the postseason in 2021.
The Top 100 Players of 2022 will premiere following the conclusion of Vikings-Raiders on NFL Network (8 p.m. ET), with five hour-long episodes revealing Nos. 100-51 on the list.
A tradition for the past 12 years, the Top 100 Players list is voted on by current NFL players ahead of each season.
