Tracy Porter over Charles Woodson taking his number

Tracy Porter initially cried foul after his No. 24 was given to Charles Woodson.

In his first non-Twitter chance to speak about his feelings, the sixth-year pro coming off a disappointing, injury-plagued 2012 insisted he was over it.

"The jersey situation is what it is," Porter said Thursday, per CSNBayArea.com. "It got some attention because I spoke out about it. I didn't like the way it was handled, but whatever man. I'm not going to leave camp because my jersey number was switched."

Porter was issued No. 31, but will attempt to wrest No. 22 -- the number the cornerback wore prior to signing with the Oakland Raiders this offseason -- from running back Taiwan Jones if the opportunity presents itself.

Porter, according to the report, joked that he's still hoping to profit from No. 24.

"That's in the works," Porter said with a smile. "Maybe .5 percent ownership in (Woodson's) winery or something like that. Honestly it's all good. I'm just trying to make it through my sixth NFL training camp."
