USC linebacker Hayes Pullard was ejected for targeting during the third quarter of the Trojans' 13-10 win over Stanford.
Pullard, a senior who is a team captain, hit Stanford's Ty Montgomery both late and in the head on a kickoff return.
Pullard also will miss the first half of next week's game at Boston College.
He led USC with 94 tackles last season and also led the Trojans with nine tackles in last week's win over Fresno State.
Earlier in the day, NFL Media analyst Daniel Jeremiah tweeted about his enthusiam for Pullard.
