Utah State dismisses JoJo Natson

Utah State wide receiver JoJo Natson has been dismissed from the program, ending the Aggies career of the Mountain West's top punt returner.

USU coach Matt Wells announced the dismissal on Sunday, citing only a violation of team rules as the reason for the decision.

"We are extremely disappointed anytime we have to make a decision regarding the future of one of our student-athletes," said Wells, according to good4utah.com. "We will continue to support JoJo as he moves forward in his career."

Natson (5-foot-7, 160 pounds) was featured in College Football 24/7's 15 for '15 series as one of the nation's top small players.

He averaged 11.7 yards per punt return with two touchdowns last season for the Aggies, and added 1,002 total yards on offense (498 rushing, 504 receiving). His four career punt returns for touchdowns tie a school and conference record.

It remains unclear whether Natson will transfer to a new school to finish his college career.
