Veteran wide receiver Randall Cobb said in an Instagram post on Wednesday evening that he and his family recently escaped a fire in their Nashville, Tennessee, home.
Cobb shared videos and pictures of the aftermath of the fire, writing, "We are grateful for our incredible community in Nashville, and the support from our close friends that have given us a temporary roof over our heads and shoulders to lean on."
Cobb wrote that he, his wife Aiyda and their three sons were able to escape the fire and then go back into the house for their dog, Louie. The wideout thanked the Nashville Fire Department for their "swift action."
Cobb, 33, is currently a free agent after spending the 2023 season with his longtime quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets. In 11 games, Cobb caught five passes for 39 yards and a touchdown. He has spent 10 of his 13 seasons with the Green Bay Packers.
