Vick runs for TD, throws for another in return to Atlanta

Michael Vick's return to Atlanta was a big success Sunday.

Vick had his first touchdown run and first scoring pass since his return to the NFL to help the Eagles to a 34-7 win over the Falcons. The last time he had a rushing TD and a passing TD in the same game came on Sept. 17, 2006, when he was with the Falcons.

Vick scored on a 5-yard run during the third quarter of the game against his former team.

Making his first appearance of the second half, he replaced starter Donovan McNabb for the third-and-1 play from the Atlanta 5. Vick took the shotgun snap and went straight ahead before diving into the end zone.

Vick, booed in the first half, earned cheers for his first touchdown since Oct. 15, 2006 with Atlanta.

Vick added a 5-yard touchdown pass to tight end Brent Celek in the fourth quarter after fans in the Georgia Dome chanted "We want Vick! We want Vick!" The TD pass gave the Eagles a 34-0 lead.
