On his second career carry, the speedy first-round draft pick lost a fumble that was recovered by Dallas Cowboys safety Barry Church.
As you can see in the video above, Wilson came off the field distraught. He appeared to be getting emotional before Tom Coughlin talked to him. Teammate Osi Umenyiora came over to console Wilson.
Even if there was crying in football, we wouldn't hold it against Wilson. You want players that care that much. You just don't want them to fumble, which Wilson also did far too much at Virginia Tech.
Wilson had a long time to think about the mistake. Coughlin didn't give him another carry for the rest of the first half.
UPDATE: After the game, Wilson told FOXSports.com's Peter Schrager that he wasn't crying on sideline.
