Watch: LSU RB Derrius Guice squats 650 pounds

LSU RB Derrius Guice is making his case to be considered one of college football's most freakish athletes, both on the field and off.

As you can see above, Guice, the SEC's leading rusher last season, was shown squatting 650 pounds in a video posted Friday by LSU freshman DE Aaron Moffitt, the son of LSU director of strength training Tommy Moffitt.

To put that feat in some perspective, Guice's predecessor, Leonard Fournette, is known to have squatted 600 pounds, so LSU isn't giving up anything in the area of leg strength as Guice prepares to replace the No. 4 overall pick of this year's draft.

The junior running back will be out of Fournette's shadow this season, and his running style has been likened to LaDainian Tomlinson's by NFL.com analyst Daniel Jeremiah.

SEC defenses might have been looking forward to not having to face Fournette anymore, but they're still going to be facing one of CFB's top RBs when they line up against LSU in 2017 with Guice in tow.
