Community Assistance & Life Liaison Program (CALL)
Police-Community Relations
Gulf Coast JFCS, Community Assistance and Life Liaison program (CALL), in partnership with St. Petersburg Police Department, dispatches clinical staff and community navigators to non-violent, non-criminal calls to provide a compassionate, wrap-around response. The CALL program responds to intoxication, drug overdose, mental health crisis, suicide intervention, truancy, homeless complaints, and neighborhood disputes.

NFL Funding Supports
- Services to reduce and/or prevent youth involvement with the St. Petersburg police.
- A pilot solution to provide short-term (1 – 3 days) respite housing for individuals and families.
- Provide other communities with information and education on the CALL model to promote replication.
