Crisis Assistance Response and Engagement (CARE) Program: Chicago's CARE Program embeds mental health professionals into the 911 emergency response system to ensure that individuals experiencing a mental health crisis are met with a team of professionals who can help resolve the immediate crisis and connect individuals to appropriate community-based resources and supports.
