Sheree Pintea
Since the Carolinas were awarded franchise rights in 1993, Sheree started working overtime more frequently to be able to purchase the PSL / season tickets. When the day came to mail the check, she dropped it off at the post office as an extra precaution. From the very first Carolina Panthers game to now, she has only missed one game.
Sheree's personal mission statement is to promote the fellowship of all fans. Her game day routine includes giving out Panther ear headbands and flags to kids with the hope that they will become life-long Panthers fans. Along with her tailgating crew, she creates a friendly environment for all visiting game fans when in Panthers territory whether they are passing through or even joining. Each home game day involves decking her entire tailgate area with decorations, food, Panthers decorated vehicles (Panthers branded bus, firetruck, and VW) and making sure everyone around is having a great time. When in the stadium, leaving her seat is not an option - no part of the game is missed!
Every year, Sheree and her husband sponsor a tailgate at a local VFW Post when the Panthers are on the road for our Carolina veterans and raise funds for other veterans' services. They also go to an assisted living home and play bingo with the residents and always do trivia about the Panthers - and consistently wearing and handing out Panthers gear as prizes. She has also given some of her tickets away to those who have never been able to experience an NFL game. Her proudest moment has been when she and her tailgating crew were able to help a less-fortunate family by providing them groceries and gift cards after she was asked for help. Sheree also supports different charities that former and current Panthers players have established.
Panthers football has given her memorable experiences like traveling to London in 2019 and to numerous NFL Drafts where she wears her blue eyelashes and lipstick, draws whiskers on her face and wears a jersey with photos and patches of experiences that mean something to her. Her love and commitment to Panthers football has given her lifelong friendships not only within the Panthers fan community, but throughout the NFL community as well.
Congratulations Sheree on being the 2022 Carolina Panthers Fan of the Year!
