Tony Leneghan
Tony Leneghan is a football coach at Father Judge High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a husband, and a father. Tony attended Father Judge, then returned to Father Judge as a football coach in 1992 and later became a defensive coordinator, where he stayed for 23 years. After taking a break from coaching the high school team, he watched his two sons, Anthony, and Brendan, play the sport of football, where they thrived along with watching his daughters, Bridget and Jenifer compete in cheerleading competitions. Tony returned to the Father Judge Football program in 2022, where he continued his coaching journey and brought joy back to local high school football games. To his players, he is Coach Rock; every day he brings energy to practice, no matter the circumstances. He teaches them how to play football the right way, with toughness and grit. He knows what they need to do to succeed and always puts them in that position to be successful.
Tony's love for the Eagles stemmed from growing up in Northeast Philadelphia. Football was introduced to him as the great bond the Eagles and this city share. Tony has been a Season Ticket Member for over 20 years and enjoys cheering his team on through the good and the bad. Unanimously voted by many other season ticket members, Tony became the ambassador for Section 130! He gets the section excited for kick-off, whether it's buying a neighbor a beer, Chickie's and Pete's crab fries, or offering rides down to the games. Seeing Tony's community relationships in his neighborhood and at the Linc is what shows he is an incredible person and a dedicated Eagles fan!
