Canada

The Minnesota Vikings have been my favorite team since I was a kid in the 80's. I would watch them every weekend on TV here in Canada with my dad. On December 26, 1993, I was able to finally see my 1st Vikings game live at the Metrodome with my family! It was amazing to watch my team with future Hall of Famers Cris Carter and John Randle beat the Chiefs with quarterback Joe Montana.

As a family, we were able to make the trip to Minneapolis every few years to watch the Vikings in person. Starting in 2007, we had season tickets for 4 years. In 2008, for our honeymoon, my wife and I visited New Orleans to see the Vikings beat the Saints on MNF. In 2009, we were able to see the 1st home game of the season where Brett Favre made that amazing touchdown pass to win the game! Every year since 2006, (except for 2020 during the pandemic), we have travelled to see the Vikings. As a self-employed carpet cleaner, I have had the flexibility to travel to see the Vikings play the 1st regular season home game 8 of the last 15 seasons.  We've also travelled to watch the Vikings play in Green Bay, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, and Philadelphia.

Between going to live games, and watching the Vikings games on TV, I have never missed a game. I have Vikings jerseys, hats, masks, scarves, gloves, blankets, overalls, drinking glasses, etc! Haha! My wife has promised me that when the Vikings play in the next Superbowl, she will buy me tickets!!

We love watching the Vikings play every year!
Skol Vikings!
