Blake Martinez donates his talents to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for every 100 followers he gets on twitch.tv/packernation50 as well as 100 percent of the money he receives from subscriptions and ads. Blake has become a community leader. He has donated celebrity dinners to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Wisconsin and spends time visiting many of the Make-A-Wish children that visit Packers practices and games throughout the year. He has also participated in the Packers Give Back Celebrity Bowling Event the past three years that helped raise money for NWTC and CASA.
Blake participated in the Green Bay Packers 13th Annual Tailgate Tour that helped raise money for local nonprofit organizations throughout southern Wisconsin, eastern Iowa and the Milwaukee area. He has been a key player that has donated his time to the Salvation Army's Big Kettle campaign to help raise funds that were matched by current Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Over the past few years, Blake has supported many efforts that raise awareness for childhood cancer. Blake has been an active figure in the Penny Wars program by G9 (Gold in September). This program has schools around the state of Wisconsin compete to see who can raise the most funds for research for childhood cancer. The school that raises the most funds will receive a visit from Blake. In 2018 and 2019, Blake also served as the Packers vs. Cancer campaign spokesperson and helped spread the word about the initiative, which is aimed at raising awareness of all cancers and raising funds for research and cancer care.
Blake has been a great role model since coming into the NFL four seasons ago. This year his teammates voted him as a team captain which is a big feat considering his youth. He is admired by his peers and has been a big contributor to giving back to the community he is from and especially the Green Bay community.
