Demonstrates Excellence on The Field

Since entering the league in 2016 as a third-round pick with the Jaguars, linebacker Myles Jack has appeared in 79 games with the Jaguars and made 73 starts. He has totaled 439 tackles with the team, including a team-best 118 tackles in 2020. Myles started all 16 games in 2017 while helping lead the team to an AFC Championship appearance. In 2021, Myles was recently named a team captain for the third consecutive season.

Demonstrates Dedication and Commitment to Community Efforts this Year

This year, Myles hosted a back-to-school event for local youth groups providing new shoes, Jaguars giveaways, and signed autographs to kick off the new school year at the Jaguars 2021 Scrimmage. In support of higher education, Myles is awarding two $4,000 scholarships to students at Edward Water College to assist with books and tuition. Myles also hosted a Halloween "Trunk or Treat" for 50 military families and children to experience the joy of trick-or-treating in a fun and safe environment. During the holiday season, Myles will be participating in the Jaguars Foundation's hunger relief initiatives that will impact thousands of families in need across Northeast Florida.

Demonstrates Dedication and Commitment to Community in Years Past

Myles has dedicated his time, talents, and resources to the Jacksonville community to give back to the next generation. With a focus on youth and education, Myles hosts an annual back to school event at a different venue each year that provides 120+ kids with school supplies, backpacks, new clothing, shoes, and Jaguars giveaways to support their return to school. Myles also hosts a shopping spree each holiday season to give underserved children the opportunity to purchase Christmas gifts for their families.

In addition, Myles has embraced Jacksonville's robust military community. In 2019, Myles embarked on a weeklong tour to South Korea with the USO. He participated in stateside military appreciation events, including Pros vs. GI Joe, where the Jaguars invite 25 active-duty military members to interact with players through video game challenges. Myles participated in the Stars and Strikes bowling event to spend time with and support 200 military members and their families for a free night of bowling at Naval Station Mayport in Jacksonville. He also helps support the team's annual care package event. Staff, coaches, and players put together care packages for deployed soldiers as part of the St. Michael's Soldiers non-profit mission. Myles hosted a free movie night for 150-plus military families and children to further support families who have loved ones on deployment.

Demonstrates Consistency in Positive Character and Models a Lifestyle of Giving Back

Myles believes in the importance of education, setting goals, and remaining true to oneself. He has made school visits to offer advice to high school students on these topics while sharing his personal story of success.

With COVID-19 affecting many families, Myles lent a giving hand to a local youth football team and their families by providing Publix and Academy Sports and Outdoors gift cards to help with groceries and other necessities. Myles has also worked in underserved communities, where he donated $10,000 to assist elderly Jacksonville residents in keeping their lights on and water running in 2019.
