EXCELLENCE ON THE FIELD

Cameron Dicker has made 69-of-74 career field goal attempts through Week 9 of the 2024 NFL season. His field goal percentage of 93.2 is the second-best in NFL history by a player with at least 50 attempts. Additionally, Dicker has made 58 of his 59 career field goal attempts from less than 50 yards out. His 98.3 percentage on field goals from less than 50 yards is the best by any NFL kicker in at least the last 30 seasons (min. 40 attempts of less than 50 yards). As a rookie, Dicker made 21-of-22 field goals (95.5 pct.) to set the record for best field goal percentage by a rookie kicker since the 1970 NFL-AFL Merger (min. 15 att.). Dicker also owns the Chargers record for longest FGM in franchise history after his 59-yard field goal 10/21/24 at Arizona.

POSITIVE CHARACTER & A LIFESTYLE OF GIVING BACK

Widely regarded as one of the team's most outgoing characters, Dicker brings enthusiasm and joy to everything he does. Whether it's a guest starring role in a vignette on the team's award-winning social media channels, a collaboration with another Los Angeles area team/athlete, or out in public at a community appearance, Dicker's personality is infectious. At only 24 years old, he demonstrates enthusiasm for community work and maturity rarely seen in a player so early in his career. He displays his care for the community by making personal connections with fans, community members and local nonprofits. After spending the majority of the 2024 offseason away from Southern California, Dicker was eager to begin connecting with fans and community members during the start of Training Camp. Every day of Camp that was open to the public, Dicker could be found walking the entirety of the fan section (which spanned the end zones of three football fields), mingling with fans, taking selfies, and signing autographs. One impromptu meeting during Training Camp stands above the rest in encapsulating what Cameron Dicker is all about. After practice, Dicker met a Chargers superfan who also happened to be a former Make-A-Wish child battling Muscular Dystrophy. After spending time with the child and his father and learning about the disease, Dicker decided to represent the nonprofit 'Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy' as his 2024 NFL "My Cause, My Cleats" initiative. These types of stories do not happen without taking the time to make genuine connections with people.

DEDICATION & COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY EFFORTS

THIS YEAR

There is no player on the 2024 Chargers roster that has been more instrumental to team and foundation-run events than Cameron Dicker. In addition to his dedicated work with Chargers and NFL-led community initiatives, Dicker has taken his service a step further in 2024 by dedicating personal time to connect with nonprofits supporting causes important to him. During Training Camp, Dicker participated in the "Pad Buddies" initiative that created an opportunity for youth football players to walk out to the field with participating players carrying their pads and helmets. Prior to the start of the season, he also donated $10,000 to the Chargers Impact Fund to support its Community Corner initiative that provides game tickets to nonprofits and youth groups. During Crucial Catch week, Dicker participated in a meditative breathwork event with cancer patients, survivors, and their families, as well as the Chargers' annual 'Boo at the Bolt' Halloween party for children impacted by cancer. Dicker stole the show and made Boo at the Bolt a memorable experience for the children and families in attendance, dressing up as his favorite hero – Edna Mode from the Incredibles – and joining everyone for crafts, games, and photos. Later in the evening, Dicker teamed up with Head Coach Jim Harbaugh to read a Halloween book to the group in the team auditorium. As stated by Sports Illustrated, "… the Chargers weren't just heroes on the field, they turned into superheroes for a group of kids who needed a little extra joy, and Dicker led the way with flair and fun, Edna Mode-style." Dicker's work with The Friendship Foundation, a nonprofit focused on transforming the lives of people with disabilities, has also been exemplary. After recently joining one of the foundation's daily walks, Dicker purchased 30 tickets to an upcoming Chargers home game at SoFi Stadium for all of that day's participants in the walk. Dicker is also planning both Thanksgiving and Christmas/ Holiday events in the coming weeks for local youth groups and single mothers and will be recording a PSA for Easterseals Southern California.

IN YEARS PAST

Dicker signed with the Chargers midway through the 2022 season as a rookie and, just days into his tenure, joined the Chargers Impact Fund's Bolts Book Club at Wallis Annenberg PetSpace for a celebration of students who achieved perfect attendance. He participated in reading to the students as well as 'puppy yoga' with the adoptable pets. The 2023 season was a breakout year for Dicker both as a player and community advocate as he solidified his role as the team's starting kicker. He continued to go above and beyond at community events while taking his play to another level. One example came during the team's annual Halloween party for children and families impacted by cancer. Upon learning one of the families in attendance at the event was a fan of him from his collegiate days as a Texas Longhorn, Dicker stayed long after his duties were complete to spend extra time engaged with the family – something the pediatric cancer group noted was above and beyond anything they had ever experienced when attending events such as this. In addition to attending multiple community events throughout the year, Dicker also hosted his first holiday event for children from a local Boys & Girls Club, taking them on an all-expenses paid trip to Dicks' Sporting Goods to pick out sports equipment and apparel for the holidays. Another point of differentiation came at the conclusion of the 2023 season. With enthusiasm rarely seen from a player at the end of a long year, Dicker rescheduled his flight back home to Texas to visit children being treated at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
