Bye Week.............7

As a 32-year-old tight end, Daniels' 48 receptions, 527 receiving yards and four touchdowns were pretty solid totals in Baltimore last season. However, from a fantasy perspective, he was a liability down the stretch, posting two or fewer catches in six of his final seven games, and scoring only one touchdown in that span as well. For the optimistic fantasy owners, Daniels stuck with Gary Kubiak and headed to Denver in the offseason, where he'll now be catching passes from Peyton Manning. It's not out of the question for Daniels to improve upon his numbers from last year, but any gains will likely be moderate and still keep him in the TE2 tier.

As a rookie last season, Seferian-Jenkins was a member of the "Tampa Towers" receiving corps for the Bucs along with Vincent Jackson and Mike Evans. He's extremely tall at 6-foot-6 and has great speed for his size, but he struggled to adjust to the pro game (as many young TEs do). His pro education isn't over yet, though, as he has a lot to learn come September. He has a new offensive coordinator in former Falcons offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter, whose history working with Tony Gonzalez could be a very, very good thing for Seferian-Jenkins' future. Oh, and he has a new quarterback to build a rapport with in Jameis Winston. So while the future looks bright, ASJ should still be drafted in later rounds as a speculative matchup-based play with potential weekly-starter upside.

Bye Week.............5

Add another young but injury prone tight end to the list of disappointments from 2014. Rudolph's outlook was promising under new Vikings' offensive coordinator Norv Turner, who has turned tight ends into fantasy superstars in the past. Unfortunately, Rudolph suffered a groin injury in Week 3 that required surgery and kept him out until Week 12, rendering him virtually useless in fantasy. He has only played in 17 games combined over the past two seasons so draft with caution here when considering Rudolph in the middle rounds. There is plenty to like about his situation, however, as the offense around his rising young signal-caller, Teddy Bridgewater, has been bolstered with more playmakers. Rudolph should be drafted as a TE2, but he could easily vault back toward the top of this list in 2015.

Most fantasy fans will remember the name Josh Hill, as he frequently vultured touchdowns from an injured Jimmy Graham a season ago (five of them, to be exact, with four of them coming in the red zone). Now, with Graham in Seattle and Hill's hype train building in New Orleans, he'll be a trendy sleeper pick at tight end in 2015. The Saints figure to be a little less pass-heavy than in years past, but Hill should still see plenty of targets coming his way giving him TE2 value.

Bye Week.............8

Last season was a contract year for the 26-year-old tight end in which he posted 605 yards and three touchdowns, helping to secure a lucrative new deal with the Buffalo Bills. Clay had just four games with double-digit fantasy points in 2014 and like most tight ends last year, was pretty inconsistent. If he can stay healthy, he could return to 2013 form when he scored six touchdowns, totaled 759 receiving yards and ranked as a top-10 fantasy tight end. The biggest inhibitors to his success in Buffalo will be the combination of quarterback play and the wealth of weapons around him. Sammy Watkins, LeSean McCoy and Percy Harvin are all going to garner plenty of targets. Clay's best value for 2015 is as a talented TE2 to stash on the bench as a potential matchup-based starter.

Bye Week.............6

Rivera didn't make enough of an impact in fantasy during the first two months of the 2014 season to warrant much discussion. However, he put himself on the map with three touchdowns in two games halfway through the year before sputtering into irrelevance once again (save for one huge game against the 49ers in Week 14 during the fantasy playoffs). His 58 receptions are nothing to scoff at, though, as it was good enough to rank him second on the Raiders in catches. Based on volume he could bring some sneaky late-round sleeper value in 2015 as he heads into his third year as a pro and second on the receiving end of Derek Carr's passes. If the young duo can develop some offseason chemistry there's a chance that Rivera racks up another 60 or so catches this season. He's a TE2 for 2015, but could start to verge on TE1 status by the season's end.

Bye Week.............11

Virtually unknown at the beginning of the 2014 campaign, Donnell scored four times in a matter of four games to start the season. But he failed to produce on a consistent basis following his three-touchdown game in Week 4 against the Washington Redskins. Even though he's only 26 years old, he only has two seasons under his belt and will look to keep improving as a playmaker in the Giants' offense in 2015. But, Donnell will be hard to trust as anything more than a touchdown-dependent TE2 with Odell Beckham Jr., Victor Cruz and Rueben Randle likely to hog targets going forward. He also needs to work on his ball security, as he lost four fumbles last season, more than any other tight end in the NFL.

Bye Week.............10

Davis was one of the biggest fantasy busts of the 2014 season, and was most certainly the biggest disappointment at his position. He scored his only two touchdowns of the year in Week 1, and then combined for 20.5 fantasy points for the rest of the season. His 13 touchdowns back in 2013 now seem like nothing more than a fluke. There's a chance he bounces back in 2015 with a new coaching regime in San Francisco, but don't get duped into drafting him early soley due to his name value. Let your adversaries take the bait on that one. Davis' value is squarely in the TE2, bye-week fill-in range.

Bye Week.............7

Eifert was in line for a breakout season in Cincinnati last year, but unfortunately suffered a season-ending elbow injury in Week 1. With Jermaine Gresham out of the picture and rookie Tyler Kroft not likely to steal many targets, perhaps 2015 will be Eifert's breakout year. If he stays healthy, he could be a big part of Cincinatti's passing attack, even though they'll once again have a fully-healthy Marvin Jones and A.J. Green to catch passes from Andy Dalton. Eifert should be targeted as a TE2 with some upside in fantasy drafts this fall.

Bye Week.............9

Ebron was a firstround pick for the Lions in the 2014 draft so expectations were rather high for his rookie season. Unfortunately, he didn't have much impact from a real life or fantasy aspect and admitted that he was struggling to learn the game at an NFL level during the preseason. At age 22 he's extremely green behind the ears but he has all the potential in the world. Rookie tight ends don't usually have much impact in the NFL but seem to do better during their sophomore campaign. Ebron could be a late-round bargain depending on how well he develops this offseason. The isn't much else going on for the Lions at tight end so the young North Carolina product should get every chance to shine in 2015.

Bye Week.............5

Amaro's rookie season with the Jets was less than spectacular. He did show some flashes of his potential, like in Week 6 when he caught 10 passes for 68 yards and a touchdown. Hopefully, the Jets can get their quarterback situation ironed out in 2015, which could lend more fantasy value to Amaro going forward. Whether it will be an improved Geno Smith or the aging Ryan Fitzpatrick under center remains to be seen. Depending on how Amaro looks in training camp and the preseason, he could be a valuable late-round sleeper for fantasy owners. He certainly needs to be owned in all dynasty formats, but in redrafts he's a low-end TE2.

Bye Week.............7

Rodgers wasn't much of a factor early in his rookie season, as in order to get on the field and get targets from Aaron Rodgers, one needs to know the Packers offense inside and out. Once Rodgers (the TE) did get up to speed, he proved he could be a dynamic pass-catching tight end in the high-flying Green Bay offense. Rodgers and Rodgers built up a little bit of a rapport down the stretch and into the playoffs, potentially setting the stage for a breakout season for the now second-year tight end. There are a lot of mouths to feed in the Green Bay offense, however, which is why Rodgers slots in as a low-end TE2 with loads of upside if the ball starts coming his way on a weekly basis.

Bye Week.............6

Despite loads of talent, Cook has been a bit of a fantasy enigma during his time in the NFL. It could be argued that Cook's inconsistent production is due to the Rams' struggles at quarterback, but Cook seems to disappear on his own at times. Despite all of this, he set a career high in receptions in 2014 with 52 and posted his second-straight 600-yard season, catching three touchdowns in the process. Though it's a fool's game to rely on any pass-catcher in the Rams' offense, Cook could be a sneaky matchup-based tight end in 2015 if Nick Foles provides a more stable presence under center. Look for Cook later in drafts or on waivers as a TE2.

Bye Week.............9

Gillmore entered the 2014 season as the No. 3 tight end in Baltimore behind Dennis Pitta and Owen Daniels, and as a result didn't see the field a ton. He posted 10 catches for 121 yards and a single touchdown on the year, and wasn't even a blip on the fantasy radar. But with Owen Daniels gone to Denver and Dennis Pitta's future uncertain after his second hip surgery in as many years, Gillmore is an intriguing sleeper for fantasy in 2015 -- especially with his 6-foot-6, 251-pound build. Yes, the team drafted Maxx Williams, whom many consider to be the top tight end of this draft class, but rookie tight ends almost never make an impact in fantasy. Until we know more about the true status of Pitta, Gillmore will remain a speculative add in fantasy drafts this summer, and a potentially trendy deep sleeper candidate.

Bye Week.............9

Fiedorowicz didn't do much in his first pro season, managing just four catches for 28 yards and with one touchdown (that was thrown by Arian Foster on a trick play) in Week 16. On a Texans team that lacks depth at tight end, Fiederowicz's only real competition for targets in 2015 will be Garrett Graham. Even though the opportunity is there, the uncertainty at the quarterback position and Fiederowicz's lack of experience/past production limit him to nothing more than a deep-league stash or dynasty league option for 2015. He is a name to keep track of on waivers once the season is underway, though.
