Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Aaron Kromer didn't participate in practice on the field Tuesday due to hip surgery.
However, Kormer was participating in all other team activities, including meetings. He watched post-practice on his iPad.
No details about Kromer's hip surgery were released by the team. This was set to be his first season as offensive coordinator with the Bears.
Kwas hired by coach Marc Trestman, who worked with Kromer on the Oakland Raiders team that made the Super Bowl in 2002.
