The Washington Redskins have done a fine job with their disinformation project this week.
Darlington: QB class for the ages
Andrew Luck and RG3 head a rookie QB class likely to go down as one of the best in history, Jeff Darlington says. **More ...**
Wide receiver Pierre Garcon said Tuesday that Kirk Cousins would start at quarterback against the Cleveland Browns.
Then, coach Mike Shanahan insisted no quarterback decision had been made.
Robert Griffin III didn't give us a hint Wednesday, but he sure sounded like a man getting ready to play.
Rookie running back Alfred Morris later went on NFL Network's "Around the League" and said he expects to see RG3 under center Sunday.
"He looked good today," Morris said. "You couldn't even tell he had an injury. He was running normally (at practice). I expect him to play because that's just the type of guy he is."
The Redskins have taken the opposite approach from the "Patriot way" this week. Whereas no one says anything in New England, everyone has said something in Washington. None of it, however, has given a clear answer -- which is likely the point. That will force the Browns to spend time this week preparing for Cousins and RG3.
I'm guessing we won't know for sure until the inactives list comes out Sunday morning.
