Alfred Morris has turned out to be one of the best late-round gems in recent memory.
The Washington Redskins running back followed up an excellent rookie campaign with a Pro Bowl bid in 2013.
However, Morris knows there's room for improvement. A focal point of perhaps the NFL's fastest offense, Morris now wants to make an impact in the passing game after catching just 20 balls total over his first two seasons in the league.
"My focus is building confidence in the quarterbacks as well as the coaches to let them know I can catch," Morris told ESPN.com's John Keim. "I know I can catch the ball."
"I can get better (at route-running)," Morris continued. "Sometimes you get that linebacker that's real grabby and how to get away from them and set them up is something I never had much experience doing."
The Redskins' offense already looks deadly with a rejuvenated RGIII throwing to NFL receptions leader Pierre Garcon, Jordan Reed and new burners DeSean Jackson and Andre Roberts. If Morris adds another dimension to his game, defenses had better watch out.
