Houston Texans coach Gary Kubiak isn't worried about Arian Foster's long-term availability after the running back was carted off the field Tuesday because of a calf injury.
Still, Foster might have to cancel some future plans.
"(The injury) might have ruined Arian's summer," Kubiak said Wednesday, according to the Houston Chronicle. "He'll have to be here a lot."
Kubiak said Foster is dealing with a "pretty good calf strain." The All-Pro running back is on crutches, but he's expected to be healthy for the start of training camp in late July.
"He's going to be fine," Kubiak said.
Kubiak obviously isn't going to sound the alarm in late May. Still, this isn't a great summer subplot for a team in Super Bowl-or-bust mode.
