The team will decide between Kyle Shanahan and current receivers coach Jim Hostler on Monday, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Sunday, per a source informed of the Ravens' plans.
Jim Caldwell was the Ravens' offensive coordinator from 2012 to 2013, but he accepted the Lions' head-coaching job last week, creating the vacancy.
Either Shanahan or Hostler will be tasked with improving an offense that ranked 29th in the NFL in 2013. Joe Flacco had an inconsistent season under center after winning the Super Bowl, and the Ravens couldn't sustain a viable passing attack on a week-to-week basis.

UPDATE:Rapoport reports that Gary Kubiak has emerged as a candidate for the Ravens' offensive coordinator position. Kubiak was in discussions with the Cleveland Browns for their open OC position, but the former Texans coach wanted more power than the Browns were willing to give.
