LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) - The Chicago Bears have agreed to a one-year contract with former Indianapolis Colts and Atlanta Falcons cornerback Kelvin Hayden.
Hayden appeared in eight games for Atlanta last season before going on injured reserve with an injury that the Falcons did not specify. He spent six seasons in Indianapolis before that and was part of the 2006 team that beat the Bears in the Super Bowl.
He has appeared in 85 games and made 47 starts over seven seasons, contributing 312 tackles and 11 interceptions.
Hayden wasn't the only free agent cornerback the Bears landed on Thursday. They agreed to a one-year contract with Jonathan Wilhite. He played in 15 games for Denver last season after spending his first three in New England.
