Ben Roethlisberger's six touchdown-game is best of Week 9

Pick any superlative you want for Week 9's Top 10 "Performance Moments of the Week" presented by Bridgestone. Ben Roethlisberger's performance deserves them.

Coming off a historically great Week 8, few, if any, thought Big Ben could repeat his performance against the Indianapolis Colts -- especially against the Ravens. To Baltimore's dismay, the Steelers quarterback did. On fourth-and-2 with two minutes remaining, Roethlisberger fooled the Ravens' defense with a play fake. Big Ben lofted a pass to longtime tight end Matt Spaeth, who rumbled in for a 33-yard score, giving him six on the night. It's hard to argue that a signal-caller has had a better two-week stretch than Big Ben in his last pair of games.

The No. 2 play also featured a tight end, albeit in drastically different circumstances. Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith had a pass to the right deflected by Jets linebacker Calvin Pace. At first, it appeared like a successful defensive stand by New York, stuck with Kansas City on Gang Green's 2-yard line. But Anthony Fasano, lying on the ground, saw the ball serendipitously fall to him. Not having been touched, he jumped from the ground and into the end zone.

Also making the countdown: We're really not sure how Gronk reeled in that one-handed 20-yard grab. ... Antonio Brown pulled out the jukes en route to a 54-yard touchdown, further cementing his place as 2014's top wideout. ... Seahawks linebacker Bruce Irvin tipping up Raiders rookie Derek Carr's pass, catching it and taking it 35 yards for a touchdown will always look cool.
