A.J. Green doesn't expect to miss the season finale against the Steelers.
The Bengals wideout exited Monday night's monster 37-28 win over the Broncos with an injury to his upper right arm after taking a shot from Denver's T.J. Ward.
Green said X-rays taken at halftime were negative, but that the pain was too significant to play with.
"I think I'll be fine," he told the Cincinnati Enquirer when asked about the Steelers game on Sunday.
Green has been struggling through injury all season but is still somehow less than 50 yards away from another 1,000-yard campaign. His presence on the field, as a few games earlier this season indicated, are crucial to the way Hue Jackson's offense works.
Having him for Sunday's game against Pittsburgh could be the difference between the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye and the No. 5 seed and a game against Indianapolis. In short: The Bengals hope Green is telling the truth.
