Big Ben: There's absolutely nothing wrong with wrist

Ben Roethlisberger says there should be no speculation about the health of his right wrist. It's fine, the Steelers quarterback insists.

Roethlisberger was whacked on his wrist by Saints linebacker Curtis Lofton during Sunday's 35-32 loss at Heinz Field. Roethlisberger acknowledged that some of his fingers were numb after the hit but said he was not limited by the injury.

On Wednesday, Roethlisberger disputed a report that he had a broken bone in the wrist.

"There is absolutely nothing wrong with my wrist," he said, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Roethlisberger consistently missed high with his throws against the Saints, though he was having that same accuracy issue before Lofton whacked him.

The Steelers might have to run the table to earn a playoff spot. Roethlisberger is playing on Sunday, whether he can feel all his fingers or not.
