Bills CB McGee will miss a few weeks with hamstring injury

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Buffalo Bills veteran cornerback Terrence McGee is out indefinitely after hurting his left hamstring on the first play of the team's season opener.

Bills coach Chan Gailey on Monday ruled out McGee from playing this weekend against the Oakland Raiders and said the player is expected to miss a few weeks.

McGee was hurt during Sunday's 41-7 win at Kansas City when he pulled up and held his left hamstring immediately following Leonard Pope's 15-yard reception. The hamstring had been bothering McGee the entire week leading up to the game.

Bills wide receiver Marcus Easley also has been ruled out this weekend because of an undisclosed illness that forced him to miss the opener. Gailey wouldn't say what the illness is but said he requires more tests.
