The Philadelphia Eagles have interviewed Cleveland Browns linebackers coach Billy Davis for their vacant defensive coordinator position, according to an Eagles team source. It is the first known interview for that job on Chip Kelly's staff.
Davis previously worked as a defensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers (2005-2006) and the Arizona Cardinals (2009-2010).
The Eagles are also interested in at least one possible candidate coaching in the Super Bowl. They have been linked to Baltimore Ravens linebackers coach Ted Monachino and 49ers defensive backs coach Ed Donatell.
