Blair Walsh is trending on Twitter again. This is never a good thing.
The Minnesota Vikings place kicker -- whose struggles this season led Mike Zimmer to audition kickers last week -- missed his fourth extra point attempt of the season in Sunday's 26-20 loss to the Washington Redskins.
The Vikings took the lead in Landover on a Adam Thielen touchdown reception with six seconds to play in the half. Walsh pushed the PAT wide right, his second missed extra point in as many weeks. If you turned up the volume of your television, you could hear them booing in Minnesota.
Sam Bradford's reaction, meanwhile, says it all.
After the game, Vikings coach Mike Zimmer had little say about his kicker's latest struggles.
"I'm going to evaluate everything," Zimmer said.
Walsh has now missed more kicks -- eight field goals and PATs combined -- than any kicker in football. He might have to win the game today to save his job.
