We're careening toward Championship Weekend in the NFL playoffs, which means we're also one week deeper into the NFL Playoff Challenge. How's your roster looking? By this point, you've likely staked your claim to a particular team, pinning your hopes on that squad's success. Should certainly make this Sunday's pair of games quite interesting. But before we get too consumed with what's to come, let's take a look back at what just was.
It's not a surprise that the top roster from the second week wasn't loaded with players from one team. But if you cast your lot with the San Francisco 49ers, you had a pretty good weekend.
Then again, the biggest fantasy weekends were posted by a pair of running backs -- one surprising (LeGarrette Blount's four-TD explosion) and one not (Marshawn Lynch's two-TD day). Of course, more than a few of you made the decision to ride with the Patriots and/or Blount, so you're likely sitting back and smiling this morning.
However for the second straight week, the top-scoring tight end and at least one high-scoring receiver found themselves on the losing end of things. But that's probably not too surprising -- after all, losing teams have to throw the ball more often, right? And so it goes.
