IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys have added punter Chris Jones to the active roster off of the practice squad, an indication they still have concerns about the health of Pro Bowl punter Mat McBriar.
Guard Daniel Loper was released Saturday to clear a spot for Jones.
McBriar has been dealing with a nerve problem in his left foot that he plants on when kicking. He wasn't able to finish last week's loss against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Cowboys listed McBriar as questionable for their home game against Seattle after he had limited participation in practice this week. Kicker Dan Bailey finished last week's game as the punter.
