FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) - Tom Brady is set to practice Thursday with the New England Patriots after missing the previous day resting his left, non-throwing shoulder.
The quarterback says skipping the physical work in Wednesday's practice was nothing major and that he did extra film study and "mental repetitions" instead.
He chuckled before saying, "You don't lounge around or take a nap" while sitting out a practice.
The Patriots face the Baltimore Ravens for the AFC championship on Sunday.
The injury first kept Brady out of practice on Dec. 28, four days before he played all but the final offensive series in a 49-21 win over Buffalo. Last Saturday, he played every New England offensive series in a 45-10 divisional playoff win over Denver.
