Gbajabiamila: Mock Draft
Akbar Gbajabiamila takes his first stab at projecting Round 1 of the 2013 NFLĀ
Draft, providing a surprise right at the top. **More ...**
NFL.com's Albert Breer -- on the scene in Kansas City -- provided more insight on Albert's no-show during a Monday appearance on NFL Network's "NFL Total Access."
Albert signed his $9.8 million franchise tag last week, but he's been vocal in his wish for a long-term deal. He was engaged in talks with the prior regime in Kansas City, but all momentum on that front vanished after coach Andy Reid and general manager John Dorsey came into power.
Breer said Albert has no plans to attend any voluntary workouts. If he sits out any mandatory workouts (which begin later this spring), he's subject to a fine since he's currently under contract.
We'd be surprised if he's still on the roster by then.
